Return to Work

  • Guiding Principles

    bbin糖果派对对响应covid-19大流行政策和协议,将根植于我们的教职员工和学生的安全,以及公共与我们互动。

    Haverford College's response to the COVID-19 pandemic is guided by our four overarching principles:

    • we will provide an excellent liberal arts education;
    • we will ensure the safety and well-being of students, faculty, and staff;
    • we will contribute to the greater good;
    • we will steward Haverford as a perpetual institution.

    哈弗福德的计划也将对齐,并与当地的订单和特拉华州的法令和蒙哥马利县,以及宾夕法尼亚州的联邦一致分阶段重新开放模式。哈弗福德的计划也将按照联邦政府的建议(开放准则),疾病控制中心和预防和公共卫生的宾夕法尼亚部门。

    Our knowledge and understanding of the COVID-19 virus continues to evolve, and policies and plans will be updated as appropriate as more information becomes available.

  • Workplace Expectations & Guidelines

    The pillars of the College’s health and safety approach include the universal expectation of:

    • Face coverings
    • Hand washing and sanitizing
    • Social distancing
    • Self monitoring
    • Contact journaling

    Failure to comply with policies, protocols and guidelines may result in corrective action.

  • Phased Staffing

    Expanded on-campus staffing will be coordinated to mitigate potential risks, and ensure the safety of faculty and staff, as well as the communities we serve. No department should increase on-campus staffing levels beyond current needs to support essential on-campus operations without prior approval from your respective Senior Staff Member, in conjunction with the Office of Human Resources. Once decisions to expand on-campus staffing in certain areas have been made, staff should follow the policies and protocols detailed in this guide for returning to work on campus.

  • Scheduling

    Remote Work

Remote work arrangements should continue to be approved by the immediate supervisor.

    On-Campus Work

    Departments are planning several options to maintain required social distancing measures and to reduce population density within buildings and work spaces for staff members who are scheduled to return to campus.

    Alternating Days

    In order to limit the number of individuals and interactions among those on campus, departments with large numbers of essential staff should phase the scheduling to full return to work. Where possible, schedules will be arranged so that employees work staggered days, if necessary. Such schedules will help ensure social distancing, especially in areas with large common spaces.

    Staggered Reporting/Departure Times

    The beginning and end of the workday typically bring many people together at common entry/exit points of buildings. Staggering reporting and departure times by at least 15 minutes will reduce traffic in common areas to meet social distancing requirements. Each department will determine how best to implement staggered reporting and departing (See Entry/Exit in the Guidance for Workplace Scenarios section for further details).

That’s why only Haverford College campus residents, students, faculty, staff, and emeriti may access the campus and Trail, effective immediately. Approved vendors will continue to have campus access for business purposes only.
